Harmonizing the connection within oneself.
Let me start out by saying that I am a total foodie... I love food! I'm that friend who constantly thinks about it and is excited for the next meal... I have always been this way.☺
Through my personal journey, I have learned that food plays a major role in the connection between my mind/body and my heart/spirit. When I choose foods that assist me in creating harmony and balance, I am better connected within myself spiritually and with CLARITY. I feel this is essential, so that we can truly honor ourselves with positive thoughts, feelings, choices and daily decisions.
It is easy to overlook and ignore what our hearts and bodies are telling us... We often give in to our fear, ego, emotional fixes and addictions with food... This can often turn into a twisted cycle of total disconnection within oneself.
I have experimented often enough to feel the difference. It is amazing how much clearer and connected I am when I feed my body foods that fuel it with maximum nutrition, nourishment and BALANCE... while still enjoying life.
My response to what foods I eat is quite simple...
Forget counting calories or carbs and all that other shmack! LISTEN to your body! Honor and love yourself with quality foods that are given to us so graciously from Mother Earth... Our minds, bodies, hearts and spirits NEED, WANT and DESERVE to feel good!
May we all embrace ourselves by treating our bodies with constant love and kindness... both internally and externally. We deserve nothing less and that's the TRUTH!❤
